Ion Exhibits Grows Exhibit Design Team

Ion Exhibits has grown the exhibit design team with the addition of two new employees: Angie Bertelsman as Senior Exhibit Designer and Tricia Fox as Graphic Designer. Angie and Tricia bring over 20 years of experience each.

Angie has been designing and branding environments for 20 years. She studied industrial design and her first work assignment was in the trade show industry. After working projects related to large retail store design, marketing and branding, she has returned to the industry and applies her experience to strategy around the in-booth experience. Her focus is on the attendee journey and the reason behind the exhibit in order to leave a lasting impression. She also excels in taking a larger footprint design and applying it to a smaller booth concept with her attention to detail. She is currently attending the Art Institute of Chicago to obtain her certificate in interior design, which she plans to complete next year.

Tricia has worked in the industry since 1992. Her 25-plus career started in a dark room developing film and handling graphic design. Her knowledge spans from pre-digital graphic programs to digital design, including using graphic programs such as Illustrator. Before Ion, she worked for Freeman as a graphic layout specialist. Tricia manages all pre-press work for her accounts. She is able to assist in printing production and is comfortable with the production aspect due to her motorcycle mechanic certification. Tricia starts from the production end of a project and takes that into consideration as she develops her graphic design concepts.

“Angie and Tricia have been added to Ion as we continue to invest in our creative team personnel,” said President and Chief Executive Officer Kevin Fett. “Their unique expertise and abilities provide a higher level of service and design output for our clients and projects. I am very excited to have Angie and Tricia at Ion Exhibits. We will continue to see impactful designs that transform environments and engagement.”
